Adult and Gero Health Nursing

Catalog description
Expands on earlier health and illness concepts of fluid and electrolytes, acid-base imbalances, perfusion, gas exchange, elimination, and tissue integrity and introduces the health and illness concept of sensory environments. Integrates knowledge from nursing, behavioral, and physical sciences with clinical reasoning skills to plan and implement nursing care. Majors only. Prerequisites: NUR 200, NUR 210, and NUR 230. Corequisites: NUR 300 and NUR 310. Offered in Fall semester.
