Fundamentals in Nursing II

Catalog description
Builds on concepts introduced in Fundamentals of Nursing I to foster the development of complex nursing skills. Incorporates knowledge of labs, diagnostics, and informatics in the holistic care of health care recipients. Applies health and illness concepts and guided laboratory experiences to develop clinical reasoning skills, professional behaviors, and compassionate, person-centered care in nursing practice. Majors only. Prerequisites: NUR 200, NUR 210, and NUR 230. Corequisites: NUR 310 and NUR 340. Offered in Fall semester.
