Catalog description

Catalog description (including prerequisites): An advanced production course leading to deeper understanding of image creation, both in theory and practice. Emphasizes camera technology and associated equipment such as wireless focus, aperture and video as well as advanced lighting techniques. Course includes visualizing a script, the director/ cinematographer collaboration in storytelling, how visual theories inform storytelling, and how a director directs talent. Course involves both individual and group work. Offered fall semester. Prerequisite FMA 220.
