An introduction to the visual language and story structure of film and television in American culture. Students will learn to identify the elements of story structure, analyze the use of lighting, camera composition/movement, and production design, and then develop an original visual stories that have emotional resonance. Meets a foundational core aesthetic literacy requirement.
