This course is a study of basic principles of human nutrition including fundamentals of digestion, absorption, and metabolism; nutrients and their roles for the lifespan; eating disorders; and nutrition for performance. Prerequisite: KIN 111 or permission of instructor. Offered fall and spring semesters.
