Environmental Ethics

Catalog description

An in-depth discussion of the ethical implications of major environmental problems, such as world population and food supply, inequities in land and resource distribution, animal rights, materialism and personal life styles, and exploitation vs. stewardship of the environment. Three hours of lecture and a discussion section per week. Prerequisite:Prerequisite: ENS or SUS majors or minors or permission from the instructor.
