This course explores the engineering principles behind everyday devices, structures, and systems, showing how the built world functions through hands on investigation and guided analysis. Emphasis is placed on cultivating critical thinking about how the engineering process shapes society, influences daily life, and drives innovation. Two hours of lecture and one hour of lab each week. Meets foundational core perspectives in science requirement.
