Catalog description

Coverage of the bonding and properties of the main group and especially transition metal elements with a focus on their coordination and solid-state chemistry. Molecular symmetry principles, spectroscopy, materials science and catalytic applications of these substances are discussed in lecture and studied in lab. Three hours of lecture and three hours of lab. Prerequisite: CHE 311.
