Catalog description
Lecture sessions focus upon works from several art forms, with the goal of developing students’ perceptual skills. A major focus of this course is experiencing art. Written critiques on selected events are part of the course curriculum. Meets a foundational core fine arts aesthetic literacy requirement. May not count more than one ART 172, ART 230, or HUM 230 toward aesthetic literacy.
