Examines basic management principles essential for the operation of sport-related enterprises. Topics that apply to a variety of sport/physical activity environments will be discussed. Areas to be studied include leadership, staffing, budgeting, marketing, planning, controlling, and liability. Provides a practical base of management principles to prepare students for an entry-level position.
