Catalog description

A review of the topics and practical concepts studied during the Radiography Program to prepare students for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification exam and to transition to the role of professional caregiver. Topics include radiation protection, equipment operation & quality control, image production & evaluation, radiographic procedures, patient care & education, and job interview skills. Lab includes hands-on practice of positioning, patient care, image production and technique. Students much achieve a grade of at least 75% in this course to advance in the program.
