Radiographic Clinical Education III

Catalog description

Students will apply positioning skills as in previous practicum courses. Topics include positioning of chest, abdomen, upper and lower extremities, hip, pelvis, bony thorax, spine, skull and facial bones, and fluoroscopy for competencies. Intermediate-level patient care procedures, radiation protection practices, radiologic exposure principles and the use of radiographic accessories are introduced. Students must achieve a grade of at least 75% in this course to advance in the program.
