Clinical Practice IV

Catalog description

Continuation of critical care rotations, along with specialty areas like sleep study, physician rounds and home health rotations. Students will attend 8hours of clinical rotation for 10weeks in the intensive care units. They will also attend a weekly 4-hour lab using the human patient simulators. In lab, they will participate in a variety of scenarios, practicing crisis management and teamwork, as well as present case studies.
