Catalog description

The purpose of this course is to introduce formal and informal methods and materials used to identify reading strengths and weaknesses of students. Emphasis is placed on the diagnosis of reading problems, administration of assessments, evaluation of results and planning instructional interventions to remediate reading difficulties. This course requires field experience in the public schools.
