This Course Affords Students The Ability To Think Critically Through The Mastering Of Subjects Concerned With Human Culture, Especially Literature, History, Art, Music, And Philosophy, And Must Include Selections From The Western Canon. Introduction To The Study Of Ethics (The Rationale Behind Human Behavior) Through An Examination Of The Theoretical Traditions That Span The Globe And That Date From The Ancient Through The Modern World. Students Will Be Introduced To A Wide Range Of Outstanding Moral Theorists Whose Ideas Will Be Examined Within The Cultural Contexts That Gave Them Birth. Written Work (3,500 Words Minimum) Is Required. Course Satisfies The General Education Requirement.
