Catalog description

The purpose of this course is to provide information to students in the care and prevention of athletic injury. This is an introductory class that addresses how athletic and fitness injuries occur, how they are treated and how they can be prevented. In addition, it is the purpose of this course to teach basic strapping and wrapping techniques to the student, as well as the rudiments of therapeutic modalities in the treatment of sports injuries.
