Catalog description
This course provides the student with theory, laboratory and clinical experiences required forbeginning nursing practice and those aspectsof the nursing profession that are related to roles, leadership, trends, theories and research. This course focuses on human reproduction and development through the application of the nursing process in the care of pregnant women, infants and women in general. Topics include gynecological nursing, normal and high-risk pregnancies, labor and delivery, andcare of the newborn.
