Laboratory Procedures

Catalog description

This course provides training in CLIA-waived laboratory procedures, including specimen collection, quality control, safety compliance, and commonly performed diagnostic tests. Students develop skills in emergency preparedness, including the use of emergency equipment, recognition and reporting of abuse, and implementation of office safety and evacuation plans. Upon successful completion, students will earn their Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR, AED, and first aid for Healthcare Professionals.
