Catalog description

This course is intended to provide an examination of the services provided by a manager of a human resources department. This course will provide an overview of human resources management (HRM). HRM is a fundamental component of the competitiveness, effectiveness, and sustainability of any organization, as it influences who is hired, how they are trained, evaluated, and compensated, and what steps are taken to retain them. Throughout the course, we will focus on the role of managers and how they develop effective and efficient human resources practices that support the strategic goals of their organizations.
