Catalog description

This course allows students to gain the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to succeed in college-level research by identifying, evaluating, and using diverse information sources from the internet and library databases. This course follows the research process that includes developing topics and thesis statements, creating search strategies, and critically evaluating and ethically citing sources. These research and critical thinking skills are crucial for success not only in college but also in the workplace.
