Catalog description
The Nurse Assistant course provides instruction to students related to the healthcare delivery system, health occupations, legal and ethical responsibilities, infection control, safety and security procedures, providing patient care procedures, principles of nutrition, providing care for geriatric patients, providing biological, psychological, and social support, following patient care plans, and assisting with rehabilitative activities, and basic employability skills. This course includes 40 clinical hours.
