Catalog description
This course covers science of fire, breathing apparatus, ladders, hose, nozzles and fire streams. The program also includes first responder medical and awareness-level hazardous material training. Upon successful completion of the course, and a written examination, the student will receive a certificate of competency from the Bureau of Fire Standards and training as a volunteer firefighter.
