Catalog description

The purpose of this course is to prepare teachers and future teachers as competent computer-based technologists. This course is designed specifically for education majors. Students will learn how to successfully integrate instructional technology tools into their evolving teaching methodology. Based on the study of a wide range of successful technology integration models currently in use throughout the United States, students will cultivate their own sense of the importance of effective instructional technology modeling as a part of their teaching and learning strategies. This course requires a significant amount of time outside the class using a computer. A minimum 2.5 GPA is required for admission to teacher education programs in all state universities in Florida.
