Cybersecurity Foundations

Catalog description

This course provides foundational knowledge in computer systems, IT structures, and basic cybersecurity concepts. Through theoretical and practical training this course will focus on using technology effectively, understanding digital environments, and information technology, networking, and security fundamentals. Topics of study include foundation knowledge and skills in computer applications, systems, and networks, internet safety, and security concepts and principles. Students will prepare to sit for the CompTIA Tech+ certificiation exam.
