Catalog description
This course is the second half of an investigation of the structure and functioning of the human body. Topics include the anatomy and physiology of cellular control systems; the special senses; the endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, and reproductive systems; and fluid/electrolyte and acid/base balance. The lecture will focus on physiology, and the lab will focus on anatomy. Designed primarily for nursing, respiratory therapy, and other allied healthcare professions.
