Catalog description

A course emphasizing organismal and population biology. Topics include regulation of cell metabolism, comparative plant and animal physiology, developmental biology, population biology and ecology, evolutionary biology, and applications to clinical sciences. This sequence (BSC2010 and BSC2011) is designed for students who need to complete a first-year biological sciences course before transferring to a university program where such a course is a prerequisite to higher-level courses.
