Catalog description

An introduction to financial accounting concepts and procedures. Generally accepted accounting principles and the accounting cycle are emphasized. Topics include merchandising activities, inventories, receivables, long-lived assets, liabilities, ownership equity and internal control for corporations and other business entities. Emphasis will also be placed on the use of financial statements as a basis for business decisions.
