Collaborative Teacher

Catalog description

This course is designed to provide teacher candidates with knowledgeable skills required to successfully facilitate intervention strategies with general education teachers. Candidates will gain the skills necessary to meet the needs of children with disabilities in inclusive educational settings. Additional skills are designed to facilitate efforts of special education teaching personnel in facilitating intervention strategies with parents and community agencies in assisting students with disabilities to make a successful transition from the school to employment and community living activities.
