Catalog description

Critical Infrastructure protection is on the cornerdtones of homeland security. This course will explore the various techniques for elimnatinf security vulnerablities, defining security specifications and plans, incorporating counrtermeasures to achieve overall system assurance. This course also focuses on the most findamental critical infrastructures and develops a network theory of vulnerability analysis and risk assessment and then applies fauly and financial risk reduction techniques to derive the optimal strategy for the protection of each sector. Prereq: CS415 3 credit hours
