Catalog description

This course will introduce students to the law of the European Union. Topics covered include the legal architecture and principal institutions of the European Union, the doctrines of primacy and direct effect, the charter of fundamental rights, the internal market and economic integration, economic and monetary union, external action, and the Schengen acquis.
