This course is designed to teach the underlying principles of scientific reasoning that is the basis of research methods and design. Students will learn about quantitative and qualitative research designs and the types of statistical analysis appropriate for the different kinds of data acquired through careful experimentation and observation. Primary emphases will be on clinical research and evidence-based practice.
