TRANSLATION TECHNOLOGIES AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Catalog description

Prerequisite: Admission to the Graduate Certificate in Spanish-English Translation or Instructor Permission. Taught in Spanish and English. Topics covered include translation memory, machine translation, website localization, terminology management, human resources, file formatting and project planning, workflow and delivery. Exploration of concepts, strategies, and skills necessary to utilize translation technologies and manage a translation project. Offered evey fall.
