SENIOR SEMINAR IN HISTORIOGRAPHY

Catalog description

Prerequisites: Senior standing and HIS 300. Acquaints history and social studies education majors and others with great works of historic literature in the Western and other traditions. Introduction to the development of historical writing from ancient times to the present. Students are encouraged to assess sources that have been used to record the past and to examine the various methodologies employed by historians in studying the past. Offered every semester.
