The history of fashion and its relationship with society and culture from a social justice framework; social and economic factors shaping fashion in different cultural contexts; the intersection of fashion with politics, gender, race, and other dimensions; the experiences and roles of marginalized, indigenous, and diasporic communities in fashion.
