The applied and historical study of all stages literary publishing since the founding of Poetry: A Magazine of Verse in 1912 including an understanding of both the function of the magazine as a literary force and the interaction of design and text. Practical application via lab hours devoted to editing, designing, and distributing ELJ (Elm Leaves Journal), SUNY-Buffalo State’s literary magazine. Offered annually.
