Catalog description

Prerequisite: CHE 501 or equivalent, or permission of instructor. A study of chemical analysis using representative instrumental techniques, including spectroscopy, chromatography, and mass spectroscopy; emphasis on fundamental theory, principles of operation, capabilities, and limitations of various analytical instruments; integration of laboratory-based demonstrations of data collection and analysis using selected analytical techniques.
