Prerequisites: CHE 301 and CHE 331; or permission of instuctor. Principles of modern analytical instruments and their applications for chemical analysis. Statistical treatment of data, basic electronics and signal processing, basic optics, molecular and atomic spectroscopy, chromatography and separations, electrochemical methods, and mass spectrometry. Offered spring semester.
