Who do we write for? Whose standards do we use? Do we only write for people like us? Or should we write for the world? We will examine these questions in their transnational dimension by not simply assuming that we are the center of the world. We will make use of understandings of multilingualism that recognize that it?s about the total language capacity of any person, no matter what language we?re writing in.
