Catalog description

Develops students’ ability to analyze Spanish and Spanish American film as an integral part of Hispanic cultural studies; considers contemporary examples as well as cinema history. Involves oral communication and development of writing skills in Spanish, intensive conversation, and writing of themes on cultural topics. Reviews grammar points through exercises based on movies and other modern media to improve students’ oral and written communication; requires oral participation. Taught in Spanish.
