Introduction to Pickleball

Catalog description

This course is designed to introduce students to Pickleball, a course in which students will develop basic knowledge and skills to play the sport of Pickleball. Through this course, students will learn technical skills including forehand and backhand groundstrokes, volleys, serves, lobs, overheads, dinks, and proper footwork. Students will also learn the fundamental rules, basic strategies, and course positioning for singles and doubles play. Basic fitness and training principles will be discussed as applicable to the sport of Pickleball.
