Catalog description

This laboratory course introduces important tools for using Drosophila as a genetic model system for studying neuroscience phenomena and neurological disorders. The laboratory experiments start with simple genetic protocols, and progress through simple genetic crosses to multi-mutation crosses involving neurological mutations, including neurodegenerative mutations and a mutation that suppresses neurodegeneration.
