Music and Drama Ensemble

Catalog description

Students will explore the performance of varying forms of music in dramatic contexts such as: fully and partially staged opera productions (with and without orchestra); staged, dramatic interpretations of experimental and improvised music repertoire; student creation of site-specific performance pieces (open to performers of all disciplines). Projects will vary by semester. Most projects are geared to singers, but other disciplines will be welcome at various times.
