Catalog description

The course will introduce students to foundational topics in complex systems, including mathematical modeling, discrete and continuous-time dynamical systems, bifurcation analysis, chaos, synchronization, cellular automata, network modeling, epidemics, and agent-based modeling. The class will require students to complete both hand-written assignments and coding projects.
