Precalculus for Engineering and Applied Sciences

Catalog description

This course is intended to prepare SEAS students for Calculus 1 and Calculus-Based Physics.  Additionally, the course content is chosen in alignment with math fundamentals that are necessary for success in future SEAS courses.  This course reviews math fundamentals, advanced algebra, exponential and logarithmic functions, and trigonometry.  This course also includes a brief introduction to the Calculus 1 topics of limits and derivatives.
