This course covers the basics of life science venture creation by exploring the topics of Company Formation, Intellectual Property, and Funding. The Company Formation module addresses legal issues for startups, including entity selection and financing. The Intellectual Property module focuses on cost-effective strategies for protecting IP in early-stage companies. The Funding module introduces key factors for raising capital, including sources of funds and valuation. This course includes asynchronous online modules and additional synchronous classes and discussions.
