Modern project management is a process that develops new products, launches new businesses, builds new infrastructure and writes new stories, to name only a few of its applications. Whether you consider yourself a manager, an engineer, a leader, an artist, or any mix of these, you can make good use of project management. This course first examines the role of projects within organizations and our economy, and then explores the cycle of defining, organizing, and managing many different types of projects, focusing on concepts and skills increasingly critical to 21st century work.
