Catalog description

This course introduces the principles and process of Category Management, a collaborative approach in which retailers and manufacturers work together to grow overall business performance. Students will learn how manufacturers can align with retailers’ objectives to build sales and profitability, with a focus on the Category Captain’s role in translating data into actionable insights. Through collaboration with a major retailer and leading manufacturers, students will apply the Nielsen Category Management suite and JDA space management software to develop and present a comprehensive Category Management Review.
