Catalog description

The purpose of this course is to familiarize students with a 3D modeling CAD software platform, like SolidWorks. Students will learn basic 3D modelling functions such as extrude, revolve, pattern, sweep, etc. The course will cover integration of individual parts into assemblies. Documenting CAD models through the use of engineering drawings will also be covered.
