Catalog description

The purpose of this course is to provide undergraduate students with an authentic opportunity to perform research on learning and instruction. Students will learn education research methods and theory by collaborating with a faculty mentor on an ongoing faculty research project or conducting independent research under the supervision of a faculty member. Students will choose a faculty mentor whose area of expertise is most suited to their interests, and students should discuss the possibility of working with a faculty mentor prior to the semester.
