Catalog description

Offers students the unique opportunity to engage with local Indigenous languages, peoples, governments, settler colonialism, histories, and expressive media of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. As the introduction to the Haudenosaunee language sequence, this class prepares students with the tools, insight, and cultural awareness to learn local Indigenous languages based on a high standard of ethical and cultural protocols.
